Siemplify Releases Free Community Edition of Industry-Leading Security…

Siemplify Community Edition is a free version of our SOAR platform that enables you to experience the full power of managing security operations from a single platform in your own environment.

Whether you’re an end-user or security services provider, there is tremendous value in (SOAR) technology, and the Siemplify Community Edition…offers a powerful bridge to maturing your security operations.

NEW YORK (PRWEB)
March 31, 2020

Siemplify, the leading independent provider of security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), today released Siemplify Community Edition, the company’s free offering that allows security practitioners to experience the industry’s leading independent security operations platform and walk the path of “zero to hero” in record time.

The Siemplify Security Operations Platform Community Edition removes barriers to SOAR adoption and was designed to enable lighting-fast time to value. The new community edition includes a unique use cases marketplace created by Siemplify experts and power users. Each use case addresses a specific challenge, such as phishing or ransomware, and comes pre-defined with the required playbooks, integrations, simulation data and tutorials – and is deployed with just a few clicks.

The Siemplify platform combines SOAR with end-to-end security operations management to make analysts more productive, security engineers more effective and managers more informed about the SOC. Trusted by many of the world’s leading enterprises and MSSPs, security teams leverage Siemplify to reduce alert overload, build automated processes that slash response times, and measure and improve SOC performance.

The community edition allows security teams to use the powerful capabilities offered in the Siemplify platform to help boost security operations. This includes the ability to:

–Deploy use cases created by Siemplify experts and power users.

–Download available integrations from the Siemplify Marketplace.

–Customize available integrations and create new ones.

–Create playbooks to meet organizational needs.

–Ingest alerts from any security tool.

–Orchestrate and automate the threat triage, investigation and response process.

–Track SOC performance via customizable dashboards.

In conjunction with the release, the Siemplify Community website is now live. The space is designed for Siemplify users and other security operations professionals to share knowledge and content around best practices, use cases, threat intelligence, indicators of compromise, integrations and more. In this learning center and forum, users can also download the community edition and reference onboarding and training materials.

“We know organizations of all sizes can benefit from SOAR, so we are excited to make our unique approach to SOAR available to the entire security community,” said Meny Har, VP of product of Siemplify. “And with our online user community launching simultaneously, we look forward to helping everyone bring simplicity and efficiency to their SOC.”

Community users can schedule a private consultation with an onboarding specialist to help define their business needs. Advanced users can also schedule one-on-one sessions with a Siemplify senior security architect to answer questions related to SOAR, as well as provide best practices for overall SOC readiness, use cases, playbooks, dashboards and more.

“SOAR has become a natural next step for any SOC,” said Alon Cohen, CTO of Siemplify. “Whether you’re an end-user or security services provider, there is tremendous value in this technology, and the Siemplify Community Edition, thanks to its built-in use cases and guided onboarding process, offers a powerful bridge to maturing your security operations.”
